We are asked many questions on a day to day basis by customers, but some pop up more than others. In this news update, we run through a few of the most common ones, which will hopefully help anyone asking those same questions today.
Q : I can't see any prices?
A : You may be on the "Trade" section of the website. This is for customers who already have established prices on their credit accounts. If you'd like to order online, please choose the "Shop" option at the top right of the page in order to process your payments online.
Q : I'm a trade customer, how do I order online?
A : You don't need your account number or reference, simply complete the checkout stage and choose "Add to my Account". One of our sales team will call you to take payment if required or to confirm delivery details with you.
Q : Why is the Carriage Charge £11? That seems very expensive. A : We dispatch our orders using UK Mail, our chosen Courier. They charge a flat rate per consignment, rather than per item. As such the same price applies wether the order is for 1 leg or for 100 legs. We encourage customers to optimize their orders for value, and as such, offer free delivery for any orders over £100. However, this is a guaranteed next working day delivery with tracking numbers and a reliable service.
Q : Why does my order have a "Bulky item charge"?
A : Items sent by Courier are liable to extra costs based on their weight. However, this also applies to volumetric weight (ie how much space a product takes up). As such, light but bulky items like Dacron Wadding, Polyfoams and Felt sometimes incur a cost. However, this is dependent on your location, it may be we have one of our own vehicles in your area which means there would be no extra cost.
Q : I can't find what I'm looking for?
A : Feel free to send us an e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call us on 0113 235 1111 and one of our Sales Team can look into adding or ammending products on the website to suit your needs. Wether it's large or smaller quantities, different details or anything else, our large product base allows us to adapt to fulfill your needs.
Q : I can't log into my account / I can't place my order
A : Give the Sales Team a call on 0113 235 1111 or use the "Live Chat". We can reset your password instantly which usually allows you straight back into the site. We can also take a card payment over the phone in case the payment gateway does not work.
Q : Do you sell to the public?
A : We sell both to the Trade and also the Retail customer. If you'd like to purchase items online in an easy to use checkout facility, please make sure you select "Shop". If you already have a trade account, either Cash or Credit, then use the website as a tool for you in picking items to be added to your account.
